I have missed a few days of some great opportunities to take jabs at those who are in the spolight. I have had a few personal issues that I am resolving and apologize to those of you who enjoy the stories and the poking fun of those that make it so easy to do...
I will get back into the groove the next few days... so please stay tuned.

The Daily Love - October 3, 2009
"Anger as soon as fed is dead -
'Tis starving makes it fat."
- Emily Dickinson, was the best American poets, ever.
"He who angers you conquers you."
- Elizabeth Kenny, was an Australian pioneering physical therapist.
"If you are patient in one moment of anger, you will escape a hundred days of sorrow."
- Chinese Proverb
The Gift of Anger
By Mastin Kipp
Oh this hot coal of anger
How it can burn to the core
Of anyone who touches it's surface
But this fire, this rage of fear
Is a friend in hiding
The light of anger, the blessing of it's heat
Is that it melts away all the frozen shadows
Of our past
And sets them free to fly into the
Light of our awareness
Anger is a compass pointing towards
The blocks that keep Love from us
When anger becomes your friend
Love is sure to follow
Meet all your blocks with understanding
And this hot coal will cease to burn you
And begin to warm the frozen parts of your soul
Here is the gift of anger's heat
To express a grief and find a blessing in disguise
To break your heart
And find out that this is the only way for it to be

Britney's Saucy Single, '3,' Is About What You Think It Is
Britney Spears has three on the brain in her new single, '3,' a not-so-subtle ode to multiple partner lovin' that even manages to reference folk trio Peter, Paul & Mary. The track, produced by hitmaker Max Martin, is off her upcoming set, 'The Singles Collection.' Z100 premiered it on Tuesday and, naturally, it's already made its way to YouTube. Listen:
Lyrics:
1, 2, 3
Not only you and me
Got one eighty degrees
And I'm caught in between
Countin'
1, 2, 3
Peter, Paul & Mary
Gettin' down with 3P
Everybody loves ***
Countin'
Babe, pick a night
To come out and play
If it's alright
What do you say?
Merrier the more
Triple fun that way
Twister on the floor
What do you say?
Are - you in
Livin' in sin is the new thing (yeah)
Are - you in
I am countin'!
1, 2, 3
Not only you and me
Got one eighty degrees
And I'm caught in between
Countin'
1, 2, 3
Peter, Paul & Mary
Gettin' down with 3P
Everybody loves ***
Countin'
Three is a charm
Two is not the same
I don't see the harm
So are you game?
Lets' make a team
Make 'em say my name
Lovin' the extreme
Now are you game?
Are - you in
Livin' in sin is the new thing
Are - you in
I am countin'!
1, 2, 3
Not only you and me

Everybody loves ***
What we do is innocent
Just for fun and nothin' meant
If you don't like the company
Let's just do it you and me
You and me...
Or three....
Or four....

Jon to play smaller role on 'Kate Plus 8'
Well Jon got what he wanted. TLC announced today that the reality series "Jon & Kate Plus 8," will become "Kate Plus 8" in November, due to the couples pending divorce.
"The program will continue to capture the incredible lives of the eight Gosselin children and their family, but will now include a deeper focus on Kate's role in the family and her journey as a single mother building the next chapter in her life," the network said in a release. "TLC will continue its exclusive relationship with Jon Gosselin and he will continue to appear on the show, but on a less regular basis."
Well Jon, you wanted to get a real job out of the spotlight, so here you go! GET A JOB DOUCHEBAG!
"Given the recent changes in the family dynamics, it only makes sense for us to refresh and recalibrate the program to keep pace with the family. The family has evolved and we are attempting to evolve with it; we feel that Kate's journey really resonates with our viewers. Additionally the network is in development on a Kate project for 2010," Eileen O'Neill, TLC's president and general manager, said in a statement.
Kate Gosselin said on her Facebook page Monday that "Jon & Kate Plus 8" may not be renewed for a sixth season because of plunging ratings.
Gosselin and her husband Jon became media sensations as the stars of their own show about raising twins and sextuplets.

Gosselin and her husband Jon became media sensations as the stars of their own show about raising twins and sextuplets.
However, the spotlight reportedly put a strain on the couple's marriage and they recently announced plans to divorce. Jon's subsequent dates and trips to nightclubs have been well-documented by the media.
"With ratings falling, this might be the last season of 'Jon & Kate Plus 8.' I'm not sure yet," the New York Post said Gosselin wrote in a Facebook message.
The Post also noted Gosselin recently taped a pilot for a talk show with Food Network star Paula Deen, so she may continue her television career even if "Jon & Kate" isn't renewed.
Well just what we need, another talk show with Kate as the host... YIPEE!
Gibson seeks to have DUI expunged
Only a Hollywood Actor/Actress would try to get a DUI expunged from there record and expect it to happen. Mel Gibson's lawyer has filed papers in California indicating she plans to formally ask a judge to remove a drunken driving arrest from the actor's record.
Gibson's lawyer, Blair Berk, is set to go to court next week and make the request based on the fact Gibson has successfully completed all the terms of his three-year probation.
The "Braveheart" actor-director and "Lethal Weapon" star made headlines when he was arrested in Malibu in July 2006 and made anti-Semitic remarks to a police officer.
Yeah, okay, so what? He completed the requirements. Whoopie doo... if you or I got a DUI, you think they'd remove it from our record... NOT!
Get over it Mel, put the bottle down, and don't drink and drive and it won't be an issue. And with a mug like he's sporting here, it's almost EVIL.

Adam Lambert Swears He's No Idol Puppet
American Idol and 19 Entertainment may be putting out his debut album, but they're not taking his creative freedom—or so he claims.
"I think there's a little bit of a misconception out in the public that people that come out of American Idol are puppetted and kind of controlled," he tells E! News exclusively. "That hasn't been my experience one bit. They've been completely supportive and collaborative with me and all the powers that be are really trying to facilitate my artistic vision."
In addition to working with A-list producers RedOne (Sean Kingston's "Fire Burning"), Linda Perry (Christina Aguilera's "Keeps Getting' Better") and Ryan Tedder (the man behind the controversial Beyoncé and Kelly Clarkson tracks), Lambert is writing some of his own stuff.
"For a handful of these songs, I've gotten to write on them," he says. "So I really feel I've gotten to inject a lot of this music on the album with my own personal vocal stylings and my own lyrical content. A lot of it talks about stuff I really care about and that I find interesting, so that feels really good."
In addition to his excitement about his album's debut on Nov. 24, Lambert can't wait to see Ellen DeGeneres take a on a certain verbose judge come January…
"I can't wait to see her banter with Simon [Cowell]," the season-eight runner-up admits. "I think she'll give him a hard time. I hope she does."
While the funnylady doesn't have the music industry chops of Paula Abdul or the rest of the panel, the former contestant believes she'll bring the "everyman's perspective" to the judging table.
"She's obviously a fan of the show, and she's been in the entertainment industry for a long time, so, strictly from an entertainment aspect, I think she'll provide a lot of great insight and really speak for the people that watch the show that aren't all that well versed in the music industry and in music," he explains. "I think it's good in that regard."
Speaking of good, Lambert may dream big—his song, "Time for Miracles," for the 2012 soundtrack may be Academy Award eligible, which "would be wild"—but he's giving back even bigger.
Four weeks ago, the star began to campaign his fans to stop sending him gifts and contribute to online education charity DonorsChoose.org instead. The results are nothing short of impressive.
Nearly 2,000 people have raised more than $229,000 and counting. The money has gone directly to public school classrooms nationwide.
"I was getting a lot of gifts from fans while I was on the show, and it was really sweet and felt very supportive and I enjoyed that," he explains. "But then I started feeling guilty. I was like, I'm in a very fortunate position right now and I don't want these people spending their money on me. I just want them to enjoy the music. So I wanted to find a way to kind of redirect that financial energy."
The star used his official site, Facebook and Twitter to challenge different fan groups to compete to raise the most funds. Through DonorsChoose.org, fans select the exact arts-related educational projects to support.
"I think that it's great to know exactly where your money's going," Lambert says. "With public schools, the arts programs are some of the first budget cuts that are made typically. There's not a lot of money going around those programs and I feel like, as a student of the arts, school and some outside activities really shaped me into who I am today. I wanted to give back to that cause."
I'm glad to see that Adam is using his fame to promote donating to charity... Thank you Adam! That's the right thing to do... xoxo D

'Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds' Dies
Lucy Vodden, who inspired the Beatles' classic song 'Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds,' has died after a long battle with lupus. She was 46. Her death was announced Monday by St. Thomas' Hospital in London, where she had been treated for the chronic disease for more than five years.
Vodden's connection to the Beatles dates back to her youth, when she made friends with schoolmate Julian Lennon, John Lennon's son. Julian, then 4, came home from school with a drawing one day, showed it to his father, and said it was "Lucy in the sky with diamonds."
At the time, John Lennon was gathering material for his contributions to "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band," a landmark album released to worldwide acclaim in 1967.
The elder Lennon seized on the image and developed it into what is widely regarded as a psychedelic masterpiece, replete with haunting images of "newspaper taxis" and a "girl with kaleidoscope eyes."
Rock music critics thought the song's title was a veiled reference to LSD, but John Lennon always claimed the phrase came from his son, not from a desire to spell out the initials LSD in code.
Vodden lost touch with Julian Lennon after he left the school following his parents' divorce, but they were reunited in recent years when Julian Lennon, who lives in France, tried to help her cope with the disease.
He sent her flowers and vouchers for use at a gardening center near her home in Surrey in southeast England, and frequently sent her text messages in an effort to buttress her spirits.
"I wasn't sure at first how to approach her," Julian Lennon told the Associated Press in June. "I wanted at least to get a note to her. Then I heard she had a great love of gardening, and I thought I'd help with something she's passionate about, and I love gardening too. I wanted to do something to put a smile on her face."
In recent months, Vodden was too ill to go out most of the time, except for hospital visits.
She enjoyed her link to the Beatles, but was not particularly fond of "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds."
"I don't relate to the song, to that type of song," she told the Associated Press in June. "As a teenager, I made the mistake of telling a couple of friends at school that I was the Lucy in the song and they said, 'No, it's not you, my parents said it's about drugs.' And I didn't know what LSD was at the time, so I just kept it quiet, to myself."
Vodden is the latest in a long line of people connected to the Beatles who died at a relatively young age.
The list includes John Lennon, gunned down at age 40, manager Brian Epstein, who died of a drug overdose when he was 32, and original band member Stuart Sutcliffe, who died of a brain hemorrhage at 21.
A spokeswoman for Julian Lennon and his mother, Cynthia Lennon, said they were "shocked and saddened" by Vodden's death.
Angie Davidson, a lupus sufferer who is campaign director of the St. Thomas' Lupus Trust, said Vodden was "a real fighter" who had worked behind the scenes to support efforts to combat the disease.
"It's so sad that she has finally lost the battle she fought so bravely for so long," said Davidson.

Robert Pattinson's Not Just AnOther Man
Isn't it awesome to see Robert Pattinson on the cover of another magazine... the young hottie and vamp attracts fans of all ages...
So here he is! On the cover of British man fashion magazine AnOther Man. But wait a minute. The fancy magic hair, the brooding, the James Dean styling—haven't we seen this all before?
Why yes, we have. That Pattz, he just does the best James Dean impressions. Inside, he plays his usual self-deprecating self when he talks about acting:
"Annoyingly, there are so few parts I feel I can add anything to, or that I want to do. I don't want to be an actor for the sake of it. I don't find any particular pleasure in being an attention-seeker."

So, Rumors and Speculation are on the rise concerning late night talk powerhouse Larry King will be hanging up his 'Live' mic when his current contract with CNN expires in 18 months. If he does retire, which King himself has revealed little interest in doing, there is no shortage of potential successors waiting in the wings.
Rumored contenders to take Larry's chair include 'American Idol' host Ryan Seacrest, network anchors Diane Sawyer and Katie Couric, CNN correspondent John King and co-host of 'The View', Joy Behar.
Each of the potential replacements has a complication, according to a report by the New York Post.
Seacrest has signed a multi-year $45 million mega deal to continue hosting 'American Idol.' Sawyer has just been named to replace Charles Gibson at the helm of 'ABC World News' after a lengthy courtship. Couric is inked to anchor 'CBS Evening News' until 2011. King currently works with CNN but his profile is largely in the political realm. Behar is just starting as a host of a new show on HLN, formerly CNN Headline News, after co-hosting 'The View.'
So, how easy will it be for them to do multiple jobs? I'm sure it will be easy. Look at all that Ryan Seacrest accomplishes in a days time.
Potential replacements have not be forthcoming with their intentions. "I really don't know, is the honest answer." said Couric in response to questions about her future.
CNN is being nothing but supportive of King. "Larry is at the top of his game," an unnamed CNN rep told the Post. "He gets the best newsmakers of anyone on television, and his ratings lead over MSNBC's [Rachel] Maddow has never been wider," the source added.
"Larry has the full intention of continuing in the job he loves, and he's very confident about the future." said Howard Rubinstein, King's spokesperson.
King himself shows no reservation about continuing "I'm signed through 2011 . . . then we'll see," said King. "I should retire? Retire to what? If I didn't work, I don't know what I'd do. I'll probably fall over right on the set one night."
Larry King, 75, has hosted 'Larry King Live' since 1985. It is the longest running program on CNN as well as its most watched. It regularly attracts over one million viewers. Oprah Winfrey endorsed Barack Obama's 2008 presidential campaign on the show.
So if Larry wants to continue the job he loves, why are there so many rumors of his replacement? I don't see that he is doing a bad job, or that ratings are falling, so what's the deal? Guess we will have to follow along to find out what will happen....

Kris Allen Chats 'Idol,' His New Album and Why He's Pro-Ellen DeGeneres
Still trying to catch his breath from the whirlwind of his 'American Idol' win, Kris Allen is finally getting settled as a solo artist. Giving fans a peek of what is to come on his new record (on sale November 17), he has released 'Live Like We're Dying,' which delivers a strong message about living life to the fullest. "This first single is a really good introduction to what the rest of the album is going to sound like. It's raw and has an organic feel," Allen says.
On his post-'Idol' experience: "It's been crazy. We got off the show and went straight into the tour and started making the album. Now we're just focused on the album. It's a good feeling to be focused on one thing. I feel like I should be catching my breath, but sometimes my mind doesn't allow me to do that."
About his new single, 'Live Like We're Dying': "Producers Andrew Frampton, Steve Kipner, Danny O'Donoghue and Mark Sheehan wrote the song. Originally The Script released this song previously as like a B-side track in Germany. I found all that stuff out afterward... But we thought this song would be a good introduction to the new album. Sometimes we forget that we have one life. This is it. At times, we forget about the nicer things that make life worth living -- like relationships or nature. It's a great message."
What he regrets not doing: "I really want to go skydiving, but I'm terrified. I hear it is the coolest thing in the world and the biggest rush. That is something I would want to do at some point in my life."
On working on his own music instead of rehashing covers: "It feels really good. When I tried out for 'American Idol,' my goal was not to win. It was to go out and hopefully do well enough that I could have the opportunity for a music career. That's why I did this."
How his family has dealt with his 'Idol' win? "It has been crazy for them. They're back home where everything is crazy; your hometown is going to go crazier about you than the rest of the world. My mom even gets emails from fans. I don't know how they get her email address. She'll be like, 'Can you sign this for a fan?' and I'm like, 'What the heck, mom? How did you get that?' They deal with a lot of stuff, but they're awesome. They are doing great and trying to get back to somewhat of a normal life right now."
What he misses about home: "I miss my family and friends. Before this, I spent every day with them. It will be good to see them when I do."
On Ellen DeGeneres replacing Paula Abdul as an 'Idol' judge: "Ellen is a good fit for the show. She is going to do a great job. Everyone loves her. She's so funny, but at the same time, she's so warm and easy to talk to... Paula was that warm personality on the show. You were never scared of her or what she was going to say. I don't think any one is going to be scared of Ellen's comments either. She is going to give a good listeners' perspective."
Keep up the good work Kris, can't wait for your album to be released!

Victim Forgave Polanski, But Not Media
I am glad she could forgive him, but that doesn't mean he should be permitted to break the law and hide out and then fight facing the music...
While Roman Polanski was arrested over the weekend for a statutory rape he committed more than thirty years ago, he has had one very unlikely person defending him in recent years -- his victim.
Samantha Geimer, who was 13 years old when Polanski raped her at Jack Nicholson's house in 1977, recently filed a formal request asking Los Angeles prosecutors to drop charges against Polanski. In January, at the time the request was filed, Geimer, now 45, said: "I have survived, indeed prevailed, against whatever harm Mr. Polanski may have caused me as a child. I got over it a long time ago," according to the NY Daily News.
Geimer publicly forgave Polanski in 1997. She was hoping if the case and incident was put to rest, the details of it that continually ran with each Polanski headline would cease.
"True as they may be, the continued publication of those details causes harm to me, my beloved husband, my three children and my mother," Geimer said.
In 1977, Polanski lured the 13-year-old aspiring model Geimer into Nicholson's home for a photo shoot, where he gave her champagne and prescription drugs. Despite her requests to be taken home, Polanski then took nude photos of her in a hot tub and had sex with her. He later pleaded guilty to having sex with a minor.
"What happened that night, it's hard to believe, but it paled in comparison to what happened to me in the next year of my life," Geimer said recently.
She later told PEOPLE magazine in 1997 that Polanski "did something really gross to me, but it was the media that ruined my life."

Polanski to Fight Extradition; France and Poland Ask Clinton for Help
Roman Polanski has "refused the extradition request" that would send him from Switzerland to the United States to face justice in a 32-year-old sex case, the film director's France-based lawyer said in a statement on Monday. Herve Temime, who calls the U.S. extradition request "illegal," has indicated that a Swiss attorney for Polanski will file a motion for his release from Swiss custody.
An international tug-of-war over the 76-year-old director escalated Monday as France and Poland urged Switzerland to free him on bail and pressed U.S. officials all the way up to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on the case.
Polanski was in his third day of detention after Swiss police arrested him Saturday on an international warrant as he arrived in Zurich to receive a lifetime achievement award from a film festival.
Polanski has told Swiss officials that he will contest a U.S. request that he be transferred to the United States, attorney Herve Temime said in an e-mail. Temime said Polanski's legal team would try to prove that the U.S. request was illegal and that the Oscar-winning director should be released from Swiss custody.
"Taking into account the extraordinary conditions of his arrest, his Swiss lawyer will seek his freedom without delay," Temime said.
He also told France-Info radio that he was able to speak with Polanski from his Zurich cell.
"He was shocked, dumbfounded, but he is in a fighting mood and he is very determined to defend himself," Temime said.
A complicated legal process awaited all sides. While France expressed hope that Polanski would be freed shortly, Swiss officials said there would be no rash decision.
The Swiss Justice Ministry on Monday did not rule out the possibility that Polanski, director of such classic films as "Chinatown" and "Rosemary's Baby," could be released on bail under very strict conditions that he doesn't flee Switzerland.
Justice spokesman Guido Balmer said such an arrangement is "not entirely excluded" under Swiss law and that Polanski could file a motion on bail. But he said Switzerland's top criminal court would undertake a thorough examination of evidence before deciding on any request, and that would take time.
"This is a legal story," Balmer told The AP. "There is no room for political pressure."
Authorities in Los Angeles consider Polanski a "convicted felon and fugitive."
Polanski at the time had pleaded guilty to unlawful sexual intercourse and was sent to prison for 42 days of evaluation. Lawyers agreed that would be his full sentence, but the judge tried to renege on the plea bargain.
On the day of his sentencing in 1978, aware the judge would sentence him to more prison time and require his voluntary deportation, Polanski fled to France.
In Paris, French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner said he hoped Polanski could be quickly freed by the Swiss, calling the apprehension a "bit sinister." He also told France-Inter radio that he and his Polish counterpart Radek Sikorski wrote to Clinton on the case.
Polanski was "thrown to the lions," said French Culture Minister Frederic Mitterrand. "In the same way that there is a generous America that we like, there is also a scary America that has just shown its face."
Polanski, who has dual French-Polish citizenship, has hired Swiss attorney Lorenz Erni to represent him in Switzerland, according to the law firm Eschmann & Erni.
Polanski seems most likely to spend several months in detention, unless he agrees to forgo any challenge to his extradition to the United States. Under a 1990 accord between Switzerland and the U.S., Washington has 60 days to submit a formal request for his transfer. Rulings in a similar dispute four years ago over Russia's former atomic energy minister Yevgeny Adamov confirmed that subjects should be held in custody throughout the procedure.
That means the procedure for extradition could also be lengthy for the United States. Its request for Polanski's transfer must first be examined by the Swiss Justice Ministry, and once approved it can be appealed at a number of courts.
The 2005 saga over Adamov's extradition, eventually to Russia and not the U.S., took seven months. The case also sets a possible precedent for France, which may wish to try one of its own nationals in a domestic court rather than in Los Angeles.
For now, Polanski is living in a Zurich cell where he receives three meals a day and is allowed outside for one hour of daily exercise.
Rebecca de Silva, spokeswoman for the Zurich prison authorities, refused to say exactly where Polanski was being held for security reasons, but said cells are usually single or double occupancy and that each room contains a table, storage compartment, sink, toilet and television.
Family and friends can only see Polanski for an hour each week, but that does not include official visits from lawyers and consular diplomats, de Silva said.
The Justice Ministry insisted Sunday that politics played no role in its arrest order on Polanski, who lives in France but has spent much time at a chalet in the luxury Swiss resort of Gstaad. That has led to widespread speculation among his friends and even politicians in Switzerland that the neutral country was coerced by Washington into action.
Temime, Polanski's lawyer, told the daily Le Parisien that the filmmaker stayed in Gstaad for months this year.
"He came here, but I have no idea how frequently," said Toni von Gruenigen, deputy mayor of Saarnen, where the famously discreet community is located. "He kept a low profile."
The U.S. has had an outstanding warrant on Polanski since 1978, but the Swiss said American authorities have sought the arrest of the director around the world only since 2005.
Polanski has asked a U.S. appeals court in California to overturn a judges' refusal to throw out his case. He claims misconduct by the now-deceased judge who had arranged a plea bargain and then reneged on it.
His victim, Samantha Geimer, who long ago identified herself publicly, has joined in Polanski's bid for dismissal, saying she wants the case to be over. She sued Polanski and reached an undisclosed settlement.
Earlier this year, Superior Court Judge Peter Espinoza in Los Angeles dismissed Polanski's bid to throw out the case because the director failed to appear in court to press his request, but said there was "substantial misconduct" in the handling of the original case.
In his ruling, Espinoza said he reviewed not only legal documents, but also watched the HBO documentary, "Roman Polanski: Wanted and Desired," which suggests there was behind-the-scenes manipulations by a now-retired prosecutor not assigned to the case.
Polanski has lived for the past three decades in France, where his career has continued to flourish; he received a directing Oscar in absentia for the 2002 movie "The Pianist." He is married to French actress Emanuelle Seigner, with whom he has two children.
He has avoided traveling to countries likely to extradite him. Balmer said the difference during Polanski's visit this time to Zurich was that authorities knew when and where he would arrive. The Alpine country does not perform regular passport checks anymore on arrivals from 24 other European countries.
Balmer also rejected any hint that the arrest was somehow aimed at winning favor with the U.S. after a series of bilateral spats over tax evasion and wealthy Americans stashing money at Swiss banking giant UBS AG.
"There was a valid arrest request and we knew when he was coming. That's why he was taken into custody," Balmer told The AP. "There is no link with any other issues."
The arrest prompted angry criticism Monday from fellow filmmakers and actors across Europe.
"It seems inadmissible ... that an international cultural evening, paying homage to one of the greatest contemporary filmmakers, is used by police to apprehend him," says a petition circulating in France and signed by artists including Costa Gavras, Stefen Frears and Monica Bellucci.
Oscar-winning director Andrzej Wajda and other Polish filmmakers also appealed for the immediate release of Polanski, a native of France who was taken to Poland by his parents, escaped Krakow's Jewish ghetto as a child during World War II and lived off the charity of strangers. His mother died at the Nazis' Auschwitz death camp.
Polanski has already "atoned for the sins of his young years," Jacek Bromski, head of the Polish Filmmakers Association, told The AP. "He has paid for it by not being able to enter the U.S. and in his professional life he has paid for it by not being able to make films in Hollywood."
Penelope Cruz Kissed Two Girls & Liked It
Penélope Cruz smolders in the November issue of Vanity Fair (on newsstands October 6) but stays relatively tight-lipped about her fragile moments played out for the world to see. Yes, the same actress who has shared girl-on-girl smooches with Scarlett Johansson and Charlize Theron on the big screen admits she's "always been a worrier... Since I was a little girl I've always felt that if I had a moment of peace I'd wonder: Are you sure you can afford to feel like this?" Cruz said. After the jump, Cruz admits being pushed to her limit, what it's like kissing women on screen and why she really became an actress.
On who was a better kisser -- Scarlett Johansson or Charlize Theron: "No matter how I answer that I will be in trouble. Both were pretty beautiful partners."
On her fascination with women in school: "It was my first acting school. I would pretend to be doing my homework, but I was really observing the women. I found their behavior mesmerizing-what they were hiding, how they left feeling a little different after they'd been helped to become a little more like whom they wanted to look like. They treated the place a little bit like a psychologist's office. They would share all their secrets."
Why 'Tie Me Up! Tie Me Down!' influenced her to become an actress: "That was the day I decided to be an actress. I fell in love. I'd found what I wanted to do. I really didn't want to have to be in an office. I was a good student, but not happy. I thought, I have nobody in my family and no friends who can make a living out of anything related to an artistic profession, but I want to try. I decided to look for an agent."
On being pushed to her limit during filming of 'Broken Embraces': "Pedro Almodóvar would push me to the limit. He really knows how to press all my buttons. You can only go into something like that when it's somebody you really trust. I always feel like he's my safety net. Like I can fly and go far, because he's going to catch me. The biggest [panic] attack I had during the movie was the scene where, for the first time, Lena makes the decision to try to become an actress. I don't know what happened to me that day, but before and after we filmed I could not breathe."

Lorne Michaels Won't Be Firing Jenny Slate Over 'SNL' F-Bomb
Well I guess we know the fate of Jenny Slate, not only does Lorne Michaels have no interest in firing Jenny Slate, the 'SNL' executive producer actually feels bad for the rookie, who uttered the F-Bomb on the air. Ah, he feels bad? Not sure why he feel's bad, but OK.
In comments to the Washington Post, Michaels said the night was traumatic for Slate because "it was literally her first time on the show. There was nothing dirty, just a slip of the tongue. It was 'frickin', frickin', frickin' ' and then boom! The pain that Jenny is going through is, I'm sure, considerably worse than that experienced by anybody who saw it."
Pain? Dropping the F Bomb causes pain? No wonder I am constantly in pain...
"It has to be an actor's worst nightmare," Michaels said. "Your first time on 'Saturday Night Live' and this happens. You could sense the mortification in the studio."
NBC has also made it clear that Slate will live to joke another day at Studio 8H. "She will not be fired," said NBC spokeswoman Sharon Pannozzo.
Slate's F-Bomb, made during a sketch about foul-mouthed biker chicks, was only heard on the Eastern half of the nation. All other broadcasts were either bleeped or edited.
Regardless, 'SNL' doesn't use the seven second delay to prevent bad words from making it on the air. Instead, they use what Michaels calls "an honor system" that "pretty much everyone has played by forever."
"I don't want that show to be remembered for one word," Michaels said. "I feel awful."
Well I feel so much better that everyone is feeling bad... WTF? It was a slip, who cares... I found it hilarious!

Simon Cowell Says: Dear Younger Simon
Simon Cowell wasn't always the uber-successful 'American Idol' judge who guided singers to fame and made millions of dollars from his craft. No, when he was younger, the supercilious Brit had lost his record label and was thought of as a joke by his coworkers.
In Britain's The Daily Mail, the 'Idol' guru writes a letter to his struggling, younger self. "It is the early Nineties and you are frustrated, exhausted and worried sick. Life at this moment is not great. Yet just a few years ago, you felt like you were the king of the world!" he begins in his letter.
Cowell describes his big failures in the note. "However, your dazzling reign turned out to be rather short-lived, to say the least. The record label you co-owned went bust and you lost everything - the big house, the car, everything"
He found a job at BMG, but was not highly-regarded. "One day you are walking through the building for a meeting with one of the bosses. As you turn the corner towards his office, you hear his temporary PA ask him: 'What does Simon Cowell do in this company?' The boss answers: 'Whatever is s*** in this company, that is what Simon Cowell does.'"
"And just as he says it, you walk into his room. It is a terrible moment for you (and for him!). To this day, you cannot forget it," Cowell continues.
However, things do start to go right for the now world famous Cowell. "So here you are, a little battered and bruised but at last heading in the right direction. And I must say, despite everything, I am quite proud of you, Simon," he adds.
His current fame has even surprised himself. "For you never imagined, not in your wildest dreams, that you would become well known all over the world. Your job, Simon, was to make celebrities, not to become one yourself, dear boy."

Who would of thunk it?

Megan Fox Gets All Nakie in the SNL Premiere!
Saturday Night Live kicked off it's 35th season with host Megan Fox and while we're not enitrely sure why the oh-so-underexposed actress was chosen (actually, we're pretty sure it was just because she's hot), she wasn't terrible.
While Megan played up her sexpot persona throughout the hour-and-a-half gig, the monologue was surprisingly candid—and oh yeah, did we mention the nude photos she brought along of herself? Photoshopped nudes, but still!
Just a few weeks ago, Ms. Fox made a declaration to keep her clothes on because nudity "lives forever." But last night, Megan confessed in front of the entire SNL universe that those crazy internet shots are in fact real and that they've taught her a great deal about her own body.
See some of the pics above, including Megan as a centaur. Hey, it has to be real if it's online, right? And since we can't resist, Megan's real-life love Brian Austin Green pops up in an Andy Samberg Digital Short. Can you guess which Transformer he is?
The SNL premiere also saw the debut of two new funnyladies who rocked it throughout the episode, except for one tiny glitch—Jenny Slate dropped the F-bomb in a sketch opposite comedy-vet, Kristen Wiig. Over the show's three-decade span, this snafu has only happened three other times, including a 1997 Norm MacDonald slip. At least she's in good company.
Makes you feel kind of bad for the newbie, although her face was priceless and it the skit definitely got a bigger laugh.
Jaime Pressly - Off the Market
Jaime Pressly, former 'My Name is Earl' star has tied the knot with entertainment lawyer Simran Singh.
The couple wed at the Dick Clark Estate in Malibu, after announcing their engagement this past July.
Pressly's son Dezi -- her 2-year-old with ex-fiance Eric Cubiche -- acted as the ringbearer at the nuptials while the actress' friend Danielle Manschulo was the maid of honor.
Congrats to Jaime and Simran! xoxo D

Jenny Slate Drops F-Bomb in 'SNL' Debut
The Season Premiere of SNL and the F-bomb is dropped already...
Most new cast members on 'Saturday Night Live' begin their tenure on the show with a whimper. Perhaps a brief cameo as a waiter, an office worker, maybe throw out a wave during the end-of-show "good nights." But not Jenny Slate. During her inaugural 'SNL' episode, the newbie came out with a bang. An F-Bomb bang, that is, in the middle of a sketch about biker chicks. "You stood up for yourself, and I f---ing love you for that." Her reaction was sheer oh-my-what-have-done. Here's hoping she doesn't go the way of Charles Rocket, who was fired in 1981 for similar wordage. Watch the video (until it gets pulled).

Wonder what will happen to her? Will she be fired? Will there be a fine? Let's see what happens!

Rapper 50 Cent performs at NYC school
50 Cent says his performance at a school playground in New York was a shout-out to his old neighborhood.
Under the watchful gaze of police, the reformed drug dealer Saturday performed a set for hundreds of thrilled fans in the playground of Public School 40 in Queens, New York, saying, "I'm back in my neighborhood, it feels good. I'm full of positive energy," the New York Daily News reported.
The newspaper said fans screamed "I love you Fitty" as he rapped while wearing jeans, sneakers and a red and white Pelle Pelle leather jacket over a white T-shirt. The performance reportedly lasted for almost 30 minutes, and included a medley of hits such as "In Da Club," "What up Gangsta" and "I Get Money."
The performance came after 50 Cent's scheduled appearance at a Queens community festival last month was canceled because of security concerns, the Daily News said.
What a great guy, going back to his neighborhood and giving back! It's what you call paying it forward. Hat's off to you 50 Cents... xoxo D

Clintons attend rare Streisand club gig
Barbara Streisand played the Village Vanguard club in New York Saturday, for the benefit of fan club lottery winners, but several VIPs such as the former U.S. president, his wife the U.S. secretary of state, their daughter Chelsea Clinton and actors Nicole Kidman, Sarah Jessica Parker and James Brolin also were at the show.
It was a rare appearance by singer Barbara Streisand at a small club. Streisand hasn't played in such a small club in many many years.
The New York Daily News said Streisand, 67, made the unusual club gig to promote her new CD, "Love Is The Answer," which is due out Tuesday.
She reportedly performed a 13-song, 80-minute set during which she was at ease in the close surroundings. As she took the stage, Streisand commented, "This is hysterical. Are we a box of sardines here or what?" before launching into a set of low-key, loungey standards more typical of the music she performed as a youngster while backed by a four-piece jazz combo.
I don't care whether in a huge arenea or a sardine can, with Bab's singing, I'd sit on a carpet square like kindergarden class just to listen to her bellow out any of her song's, old and new.

The star of the "Tonight Show", Conan O'Brien is out of the hospital after hitting his head while taping a stunt for the program according to NBC.
The network said Saturday that O'Brien was released from the unnamed hospital after being examined.

"Conan is resting comfortably at home. He is expected to return to work on Monday," the network's statement said.
O'Brien released his own statement telling fans, "Last thing I remember I was enjoying the play with Mrs. Lincoln, and the next thing I was aware of was being served cookies and juice."

I hope Conan has learned that he needs to be more careful or he will get more boo boo's... Looking forward to having you back Conan... xoxo D

FINALLY! - Film director Polanski arrested in Zurich
Finally, Roman Polanski has been caught for the 1977 underage sex case in the US. Where was he caught? In Zurich Switzerland where he was to attend the city's international film festival where he was to be given an achievement award at the festival.
"Roman Polanski, who is one of the greatest film directors of all time, would have been honored for his life's work in Zurich today," the film festival said in a statement. "However yesterday, on Saturday, he was taken into custody while attempting to enter Switzerland due to a request by U.S. authorities in connection with an arrest warrant from 1978."
In 1977 the director of "Chinatown" and "The Pianist" was first arrested and charged with having sex with a 13-year-old girl at actor Jack Nicholson's Hollywood home.

Polanski pleaded guilty and spent 42 days in prison undergoing psychiatric tests, but fled in 1978 before being sentenced.
Attempts to settle the case over the years have been unsuccessful because of Polanski's refusal to return to the United States to attend hearings.
Earlier this year, a Los Angeles judge rejected a request to have the charges thrown out, thank god the judge had some sense! Why would we drop the charges???
He may be the world's greatest director, but having sex with a minor is against the law no matter who you are... and is not something that I find even remotely acceptable in any culture.
I hope justice is served!!!!

Conan O'Brien Injured
Oh No, Did Conan fall down and go boom boom? I guess if he didn't have such an inflated head, this may not have been an issue...
The "Tonight Show" host Conan O'Brien was injured while shooting a stunt for his TV show, prompting the series to offer fans a repeat episode, NBC says.
NBC officials said in a statement that O'Brien hit his head while filming part of Friday night's episode, resulting in the night's first-run episode not being completed and therefore replaced with a "Tonight Show" repeat, The New York Times said Saturday.
E! Online said NBC confirmed O'Brien, 46, was taken to the hospital following Friday's accident. The TV network did not offer specifics regarding the accident or the extent of the injuries to O'Brien.
"Last thing I remember I was enjoying the play with Mrs. Lincoln, and the next thing I knew I was in bed being served cookies and juice," O'Brien reportedly said in a statement following the incident.
E! Online said, according to an unidentified insider, O'Brien hit his head while running down a flight of stairs during Friday's filming.
Guess you need to be a little less clumbsy O'Brien...

Joe Jackson's Precence Made Michael Jackson ILL!
I am still uncertain that the tapes that were recorded by Rabbi Shmuley Boteach should be released. Unless I have missed a letter of authorization from Michael himself, I find that the release of the tapes and the book he has written to be a violation of the Rabbi's confidentiality.
I am a bit disappointed that Rabbi Boteah is taking advantage of the death of the "King of Pop" and using the tapes to make some money with a book. NOT COOL!
Rabbi Shmuley Boteach said his book, "The Michael Jackson Tapes," discusses how the "Thriller" star would sometimes faint or vomit due to his fear for the man, CNN reported Friday.
How tradgic is it that one would become ill when they were near thier father...
Boteach's new book is based on 30 hours of interviews with Jackson, who died on June 25 at the age of 50.
"My father walked in the room -- and God knows I am telling the truth -- I have fainted in his presence many times. I have fainted once to be honest," Boteach quotes Jackson as saying. "I have thrown up in his presence because when he comes in the room and this aura comes and my stomach starts hurting and I know I am in trouble."
CNN said in the interviews, Jackson reportedly detailed how his father occasionally used violence as a punishment and once turned to alleged emotional abuse.
"God bless my father because he did some wonderful things and he was brilliant, he was a genius, but one day he said, 'If you guys ever stop singing I will drop you like a hot potato.' It hurt me," Jackson is quoted as saying.
I hope these tapes and the book do give a better insight to the pain that Michael felt in his life and help people understand that he was just a human being trying to find his way.
Sending my love to Prince, Paris, and Blanket... xoxo D

Economy Hit's all - Including Pamela Anderson
It seems that TV actress Pamela Anderson is having some money issues. Allegedly Anderson is $1.1M in debt for back taxes and work that was completed to her home in Malibu according to records in LA County California.
To date, five construction companies have filed liens against Anderson's home to seek payment for remodeling services.
The largest of those liens is for $674,043 for "labor and materials ... to remodel main house, construct swimming pool, construct foundations for guest house."
People.com said the former Playboy model allegedly owes $252,360 in back state taxes and penalties for 2007.
Representatives for the 42-year-old actress, whose film credits include "Scary Movie 3" and "Barb Wire," did not confirm the debt allegations.
I guess Pam needs to find some new work so that she can pay her bills. Not sure what work she could take on, but I hear the HOOTER's in her neighborhood is hiring. She may want to check it out!

Who Leaked the Traclk by Leona Lewis & Justin Timberlake?
According to Reuters in London, someone hacked into a computer and stole a new track by Leona Lewis and Justin Timberlake which was to be released on Leona's new album. The Record lable SyCo and music trade body IFPI have called in the police to help them hunt down the thief.
The song, “Don’t Let Me Down,” is being considered as the first single release from the X Factor winner’s next album, according to the Sun newspaper.
“IFPI is working with SyCo and law enforcement agencies in the U.S. and Europe to trace the individuals who stole the Leona Lewis/Justin Timberlake track,” said Jeremy Banks, head of IFPI’s Internet Anti-Piracy Unit.
“The police investigation is ongoing,” he said in a statement. “Such pre-release leaks, however they are sourced, are highly damaging to our members who invest considerable budgets in marketing and promoting music ahead of release.”
SyCo is music promoter and television talent show judge Simon Cowell’s division of Sony Music Entertainment, which signs up acts who appear on The X Factor show in Britain.
My apologizes to Lewis and Timberlake for some Douchebag's inability to have a real job and to leak your new song! I'm sure it is awesome, I haven't heard it, but I'm sure it will still be a number one seller.
Lewis won The X Factor in 2006, and her debut album “Spirit” topped charts around the world. Her second album is slated for release in November.

What is wrong with people, do they have nothing better to do. Why did they have to spoil this for Leona? Is it that important to ruin people's happiness... oh wait, Let's ask Kayne West, he's a good example setter for stealing someone else's thunder.
