The Face of Love
by Mastin Kipp
Love's confusion
Is a bittersweet ride
A path that leads to
The unknown's surprise
I've given up
Trying to figure out why
And surrendered to the fact
That I'm just along for the ride
Cuz there's no way to know
What love has in store
There's no way of guessing
What's behind loves closed door
The only thing
That can be known
Is that the path of love
Will lead you to everything
That you're supposed to be shown
So I let go
And let love guide the way
And laugh at thinking
That I could of
Ever controlled love anyway
Love has many faces
That will smile and frown
Each one of them is a messenger
To a truth once lost
That now you have found
So don't fret and don't worry
Cuz you'll never be left alone
Follow loves urges and
You'll surely find that
Place called home

Good Morning Readers,
I wish to apologize for no blog on my favoriate topics and share my thoughts on the celebrities. My inbox is full of stuff but I just have not had the energy or strength to blog.
In Nov 2007 I was diagnosed with cancer. I went through eight months of chemotherapy which whiped me out and carrying on each day was very difficult. In September of 2008 my cancer went into remission and I was so excited and overjoyed that I could move on, and forget that chapter of my life.
On Sept10th, I had a follow up to a PET scan. My oncologist unfortunately did not have good news. My cancer is out of remission and we will have to decide a course of action. I am not so sure I can handle more chemotherapy or radiation, so I am limited to my choices.
The doctor said if I decline treatment, it would spread quickly, and that I would not have much time to prepare for the inevitable, death.
I will try to keep up the blog, and will try to work on it today as I have the energy. When they say depression hurts, they sure are not stretching that one.
Until next time.... xoxo D

Inside Mark Foley's Head - WTF?
Remember former Congressman Mark Foley, the Florida Rep who resigned after sending lurid Internet messages to teen-aged male pages working on Capitol Hill?
Well Foley has found has found new a gig as a talk radio host in Florida.
Foley taped his first “Inside the Mind of Mark Foley” show Tuesday and it will begin airing Sept. 22 on WSVU in North Palm Beach. The station says Foley will explore the inner workings of Washington.
Please tell me who really wants to get inside the mind of this pervert? NOT ME!
The first hour-long episode was an interview with Foley by the station manager. But as Foley gets comfortable, his producer said the show would go live, take calls, and have guests.
Foley resigned his House seat in 2006 after being confronted with spicy e-mails and instant messages he sent to underage congressional pages as he was trying to explore a different kind of Washington inner workings.
Foley had e-mailed one 17 year old page an invitation to stay at his home in exchange for oral sex. Foley also e-mailed another underage page with a request for a photograph of his erect penis.
Foley built a national reputation as an advocate for tougher laws against child sexual predators, during his time in congress.
The former congressman’s sexual orientation was long a poorly kept secret on the hill, nevertheless Foley maintained a false public persona, kept his personal life hush with the help of his GOP buddies, including GOP House Leader John Boehner, and supported some pretty hatful anti-gay bills during his time in congress.
However, once he resigned, Foley came out of the closet announcing to the entire world he was gay and checked himself into a rehabilitation clinic for alcoholism just ahead of an investigation by Florida law enforcement officials for child molestation…. Florida prosecutors later declined to charge Foley.
Up till recently Foley has had to make his living selling real estate in South Florida.
So I wonder if he will teach other congressmen how to solicit undeage page's without getting caught? What a DoucheBAG! I don't think this show will last long. Definately one that I will boycott.
Kanye West and his Crazy Haircut
This rapper never minds getting attention, so it's not that surprising he shaved a crazy design into his head.
Or maybe he was just inspired by Twilight's cornfield maze.
The hip-hopper showed off his new hair (or lack thereof) at Paper mag's 25th anniversary party in NYC.
And he was accompanied by his model girlfriend, who's known to turn heads herself.
Think you know who's got the crazy shave?
It's Kanye West.
His date for the Big Apple bash was Amber Rose, who recently rocked a G-string bikini in South Beach. We bet these two will be hitting up all the fashion shows this week, looking for more inspiration.
Glee's Cory Monteith: High School Dropout
This guy has luck on his side, Cory Monteith stars as Finn Hudson, the singing high school football jock in television's new, much-buzzed-about musical comedy Glee (which finally begins its regular weekly run on Fox last night!)
"The fact that I get to do this for a living is ridiculous," Monteith, 27, tells me in a small theater in Los Angeles where Glee has been filming the season finale.
"I still can't wrap my head around the fact that people are paying me to do this," he adds.
There was a time when Monteith didn't think he'd ever land more than a blue-collar job back in his native Canada. He never even finished high school...
"It wasn't for me," Monteith says about school. "I can remember ever since about the sixth or seventh grade, I just didn't understand why I had to learn what I was learning. For some reason, there was a spirit of rebellion in me."
He didn't think about a career in show business until he was 20 years old.
"I was working as a roofer and taxi driver in some backwater town and I was at loose ends and somebody said, 'You should be an actor!' " Monteith said. "I was like, 'Sure! I need to pay my rent.' "
Take a look at a clip about the show from "Young Hollywood.com"
Before landing Glee, he built up a résumé that includes work in movies like Final Destination 3 and a slew of television shows, including Kyle XY.
"People are really happy that it worked out," he says, regarding his friends and family back in Canada. "Things went very, very badly in my life for a long time and now they are going very well."
That doesn't mean he's taking anything for granted. "I don't forget where I come from," he stresses.
Monica Performs at GET SCHOOLED - Comments on Prez Speech
Who can remember the last time that the first day of school was such a big deal (maybe when we were probably 12). But yesterday was a bit different. For one thing, President Barack Obama gave a much ballyhooed speech to all students of all ages nationwide.
For another, there was GetSchooled, a concert event for the new initiative run by Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, broadcast Tuesday night on all Viacom networks, including MTV, VH1 and BET. Afterwards, Monica, the R&B singer who was headlining the concert.
Monica had a few words to say about the Presidents speech:
"I didn't get to see all of it because I had to be here," she admitted, but "what I did see, I was very proud. I feel like it will stir up some controversy, but I did appreciate that he's very direct, and that he gets straight to the point, and gets straight to the solutions."
The singer knows what she's talking about: She was no slouch during her school years. Back when she had the hit "The Boy is Mine" with Brandy, she was a 4.0 straight-A student.
"I think that he speaks a lot about the common goal, and me coming from a not-so-privileged background, I respect the angle that he approaches things because I've been in that seat, knowing that I want to learn and maybe not having all the things that you need," she said, before addressing another pressing subject: the upcoming MTV Awards.
"I want to see Lil' Wayne win. He's from the South," she said, "His daughter is my sweetheart, she's about 11 and she's in a group called the OMG Girls, and my son loves it. So, I'll just be hoping that he leaves his legacy, because I think he's truly becoming a legend."
The all-day affair was sort of like school for the bigwigs who came: In between the red carpet appearances, a GetSchooled Conference emceed by Stephen Colbert and featuring the Gates' and Arianna Huffington of the Huffington Post (among other highbrow types) took place away from the flashing paparazzi cameras.

Star-studded Celebration on the Kennedy Center Opera House stage
Mel Brooks, Dave Brubeck, Grace Bumbry, Robert De Niro and Bruce Springsteen are to be this year's recipients of Kennedy Center Honors in Washington.
CBS, which is to air the prize presentation Dec. 29, announced the honorees Wednesday."In a star-studded celebration on the Kennedy Center Opera House stage, the 2009 honorees will be saluted by great performers from Hollywood and the arts capitals of the world," the network said in a news release. "Seated with President and Mrs. Obama, the honorees will accept the thanks of their peers and fans through performances and heartfelt tributes."

Grace Bumbry helped to break the color barrier on her way to one of the most illustrious operatic careers in the 20th century. One of America's greatest cinematic actors, Robert De Niro has demonstrated a legendary commitment to his characters and has co-founded one of the world's major film festivals. With his gritty and honest songs that speak to the everyman, Bruce Springsteen has always had his finger on the pulse of America."
'Prairie Home' Host Suffers Mild Stroke
'Prairie Home Companion' yarn-spinner Garrison Keillor is being treated at a Minnesota hospital for a minor stroke. Karl Oestreich, a Mayo Clinic spokesman, told reporters Keillor suffered the stroke Sunday morning and is currently being treated at Saint Marys Hospital on the Mayo campus in Rochester.
"He is up and moving around, speaking sensibly, working at a laptop, and it's expected he'll be released on Friday," said Oestreich, who believes Keillor will be able to resume his normal schedule next week.
A representative for Keillor didn't immediately comment.
The Pioneer Press is reporting that staffers of his folksy radio program were told today about Keillor's condition and reassured he was going to be fine.
Keillor underwent open-heart surgery at Mayo Clinic in 2001.
Best of luck on a speedy recovery.

Jay-Z Opens Up About Past as a Dealer
Jay-Z speaks candidly about his younger days as a drug dealer in an interview with Oprah for the magazine O, telling Winfrey "it was natural" for him to start dealing as a kid.
"It was normal. And at some point, you become addicted to the feeling. The uncertainty and adrenaline and danger of that lifestyle," the rapper explains.
He even talks about the close calls he had on the streets, including surviving a shooting.
Jay-Z describes a time when he was shot at, but was never hit. "That was divine intervention. Divine intervention, and nobody knowing how to shoot," he says.
The hip-hop mogul goes on to discuss his marriage to fellow superstar Beyonce -- a topic rarely breached by either party.
"When you're a public person, you have to keep some things to yourself, " he adds of their union.

Whitney Fans Forgive, Forget, Fork Over
After Whitney's wobbly Good Morning America performance I was not so sure that fans would rush out to buy her new album, but who knew.
Fans have spoken, and Whitney Houston is back, baby!
I Look To You, her first studio album in seven years, has debuted at No. 1 on the album charts, selling 304,000 copies. It also topped the charts in Canada, Italy, Germany and Switzerland.
And all that without Oprah Winfrey. Imagine what Whit's sales will be like after she appears on next week's season debut to belt out a couple of tunes and air her dirty laundry in what Oprah has touted as the best interview of her career.
"In search of ceiling repairmen. Cause Whitney just BLEW THE ROOF off of Harpo. Grown men & women weeping in the aisles," Oprah recently twittered.
Get this week's Top 10 albums after the jump.
Aside from Houston's album, new releases from Trey Songz, Insane Clown Posse, Chevelle, Pitbull and the Used made the cut.
Here's the Top 10 for the week ended Sunday, based on Nielsen SoundScan stats:

Banderas Explains Griffith's Rehab
/embed>/>/>>/>/>>/>>/>>/>/>>/>>/>>/>>/>>/>>/>>/>
'Spy Kids' star Antonio Banderas paid a visit to Ellen DeGeneres to speak about wife Melanie Griffith's lapse into rehab.
"Melanie has been addicted for many years and we always came out," explained Banderas. "We said it out loud. It was okay, we were never embarrassed of the situation but what happened she was clean and sober for six years," he said on Wednesday's episode of 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show.'
Griffith maintained sobriety for six years until a skiing accident shook her off the wagon. A skiing accident eighteen months ago requiring three operations on her knee pushed her to use narcotics and set the stage for her latest battle with drugs.
"It was said actually in some magazine that I said that I gave an ultimatum to my wife," stated Banderas in an attempt to dispel rumors of marital difficulties. "That I present the matter of divorce because she has been involved in addictions and blah, blah, blah."
"So the whole entire family is supporting her, and I am supporting her, and at this particular time more than ever," said Banderas. "I'm very proud of her."
Banderas was complimentary of the work of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). "There are a number of invisible heroes working in AA all around the world," he said. "I just say to families, 'Don't get embarrassed, just confront this problem head-on. And don't hide from that because there is a beautiful gift at the end of this tunnel, and it is the person that you love back, and that is what I am searching for.'"
Throughout her difficulties, her husband has remained a constant.
"I am very proud of my wife," he said.
And we are very proud of both of you for sticking together and supporting each other!

Katherine Heigl Adopting a Baby?
According to RadarOnline.com, Katherine Heigl and husband Josh Kelley are adopting a baby this week. "She and Josh are so happy," the source said.
Apparently, the couple have wanted a baby for a long time, the source said, and the adoption process has been in the works for at least six months.
The baby girl is from Korea. Her full name is Nayleigh, and she is approximately 10 months old.
"She is thrilled," a source close to the situation told RadarOnline.com.
Heigl is on leave of absence from 'Grey's Anatomy' and starts filming the big-screen feature 'Life As We Know It' next week.
The actress also recently hosted a baby shower for her 'Grey's' co-star Ellen Pompeo.

Nicole Richie Gives Birth
Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have added another bird to their nest, as baby boy Sparrow was born on Wednesday.
Richie wrote on her Web site: "In the middle of night, the very early hours of September 9, 2009, Sparrow James Midnight Madden was born to Nicole Richie and Joel Madden ... He weighs 7lbs 14oz. Nicole, Joel, Harlow [their 19-month-old daughter] and Sparrow are all doing well. Thank you for all of your good wishes."
Sparrow joins sister Harlow, who was born in January of 2008. Following Harlow's birth, Richie, 27, said that her new baby "gives life a whole new meaning and a whole new purpose."
Richie reportedly entered the hospital over the holiday weekend, and while her actual labor day came a little later, a note on her website says everyone is A-OK:
"Nicole, Joel, Harlow and Sparrow are all doing well. Thank you for all of your good wishes."
Richie and Madden—who have been dating since 2006 and planning their wedding since before the birth of daughter Harlow 19 months ago—announced the news of baby No. 2 back on Oscar Sunday.
The 30-year-old Good Charlotte frontman wrote on his blog, "What's better than winning an Oscar? I am so happy to tell everyone that Harlow is going to be a big sister! God has truly blessed my family!"
Rocker Madden, 31, agreed with Richie's sentiments, telling PEOPLE that "having a baby is the most exciting thing that's ever happened to me, and to us."
Best of luck to you both and your new bundle of joy... xoxo

Megan Fox Swears I Will Never Be Seen Her Naked
Recently there seems to have been a rash of celebrity sex tapes leaded. Those personal private photo's that you really don't want the entire world to see...
Everyone takes sexy nude pictures or films of them selves.. It just seems to be human natural.
The only proplem is eventually it will leak onto the Internet, then their rep will freak out. Then blogs will make jokes the next time they see a photo of that celebrity, like "Vanessa Hudgens actually has clothes on."
It's just the way that news cycle goes. Over and over again.
But Megan Fox, whose whole career is based on her hotness and scantily clad photo shoots, swears to MTV News that we can forever count her out of all that nonsense, like sex tapes:
"Ugh, never! That's the last thing I want to see—what I look like having sex. It would take one shot of me not looking good and I would not be able to have sex ever again, because I would always just see myself looking like a hippo having sex."
Or on-the-job nudity:

Or on-the-job nudity:
"I can't ever imagine myself doing nudity in a film. It lives forever, especially now, with the Internet. I just can't. I just can't."
And for once, her reasoning is logical, unlike her typical attention-seeking nonsense. She explains:
"That's the only thing I have left...People take everything from you when you're in this business. Your anonymity is stripped from you. They invade every part of your personal life, your relationships. Everything you say gets judged, everything you do gets judged. Literally all I have left are my private parts and I don't want to also share them with the world. I'd like to keep them private. That's why they're called that!"
She may not have a sex tape out that we know of, but just take a look at some of her pictures. Not much is left to ones imagination. You say potato, I say patato...
Oprah Teams Up With Anna Wintour for Met Gala
She already hosts an über-successful talk show, so is it any surprise Oprah's been tapped to host fashion's biggest fete?
The Big O is teaming up with Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour for the Met's Costume Institute Gala on May 3.
She's definitely in good company. Last year, Kate Moss and Justin Timberlake had emceeing honors. The annual fashion soiree always brings out the A-listers clad in their craziest couture.
It sounds like Oprah's already working on her fitness for the big event...
In an interview with E! News' Giuliana Rancic, Oprah took questions from Twitter users—for example, "In the past 24 hours, what have you done for your physical health?"
"This morning I did treadmill, ran around the track at East Bank and did weights," Oprah told G of her routine.
As for Oprah's secret talent?
"I am really, really great at spot removal," she dished. "I have a young dog. And I'm very good at stain removal."
So she can take over the world and then tackle your laundry...is there anything the superstar can't do?
You go Oprah. You are my idol and hero. All that you have accomplished is an inspiration to everyone in America. Thank you for sharing your life, your talkshow, and your fame to better the world.

Idol Alum Jim Verraros Ties Knot With Boyfriend
Jim Verraros and his entrepreneur partner of four years, Bill Brennan has a civil union service.
The American Idol alum, who finished ninth during the reality hit's maiden season, swapped vows with Brennan at the Oak Brook Hills Resort in Illinois (where, incidentally, same-sex marriages are not recognized) in a unity sand ceremony.
The event, the lead-up to which was chronicled on the duo's wedding website, took place outdoors in front of 174 guests, with the fathers of both the 26-year-old singer and his partner serving as best men. During the ceremony, the couple, along with family members, took turns pouring individual glasses of colored sand into a large communal vase.
"Gay marriage is not legal in Illinois, but we wanted the day to be a reflection of our love and commitment to each other as well as a statement to other gay couples in Illinois," Verraros told People.
As for more important matters—namely, the couple's first dance—they boogied down to Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling in Love."
Not even Simon could find fault with that.
Congrats to both of you and I hope that one day you will be able to Marry as other other couples are granted that right.

Mayer - His Next Conquest?
John Mayer, Twitter extrodinar and notorious ladies man has another beauty at his side. According to Janet Charlton, Mayer's latest catch is none other than the 'Hills' star Kristin Cavallari.
Charlton reports that the two have been "friends with benefits" for some time, but are now about to go public.
Mayer's most recent high profile relationship was with A-lister Jennifer Aniston. He's also been linked to Minka Kelly, Jessica Simpson, Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Love Hewitt, among others.
What about the rumor's that John is gay? Some say he needs to come out of the closet... is he just using the beauties to cover up his real desire?? Time will tell...
What straight guy would wear this...?A little bird named Twitter sang to me that John Mayer’s tweeted this infamous picture of him in a… Borat thong/mankini?
What John tweeted:
I’m already wearing it. So yes, extremely packed. RT @georgeeluvxo mankini packed yet?
Jennifer Aniston Not a Fan of Dating
Jennifer Aniston has the looks, the smile, the fabulous career, and the legs to boot, but she admits she is no fan of the dating scene. What a shame, she would be a great catch for any man.
"Dating sucks," Aniston told TV's "Extra." "I just don't understand it. I find it bizarre."
The 40-year-old Emmy Award winner admitted in the interview to air Wednesday night that she has even "excused" herself to the bathroom during an uncomfortable date, then "excused" herself out the door.
Jennifer, that's a no no, going to the bathroom and not returning. Wow, you were uncomfortable, how uncomfortable do you think he was... spank you gurl!!
We still love you thought... xoxo

Janet's First Words Since Brother's Death
A heart-broken Janet Jackson has finally broken her silence and opened up to Harper's Bazaar magazine about her devastating loss of her brother.
Below are a few of the questions and her responses:
"My brother is, I mean was ... You have to forgive me, because it's really hard to believe he's passed."
"We had so much fun that day," she said of May 14, the last day she saw Michael. The family was having a big get together, complete with rowdy kids and a Thai food meal. "We kept calling each other after and saying how great it was." More excerpts from Janet's first interview after the jump.
What Made Michael Tick: "He loved to laugh. The last time we were together, he'd laugh so hard, he would just start crying. Sometimes his humor would be corny, sometimes dry. He loved the Three Stooges, he loved slapstick, he loved Eddie Murphy in his silly comedies. He loved to have fun. He loved to play."
If She Had One More Day With Him: "I'd relive that moment we had when we were kids, do our little run: We'd wake up, feed the animals, spend the entire day together."
Taking Care of Her Older Bro: "He'd have the same red shirt, the same black pants, the same white T-shirt. Mike was very simple. When I was 14 years old, I would shop for him. [Michael was then 21 and a megastar.] I washed his clothes, cleaned his room. When Mother would go out of town, she'd say, 'I'm leaving you in charge. Take care of Mike.' I would head home from school, see what he needed, then go straight to the stores ... You know something else? He loved to wear his shoes all the way down. His penny loafers would have huge holes in the bottom."
On Paris' Comments at MJ Memorial: "I was really proud ... People said to me that Michael's daughter speaking really gave them a sense of how he was as a father, in her words. Paris is incredibly smart; they are all so smart. She's a sweet girl. The kids are doing well. They're with all their cousins; that family love will keep them going."
What's Next for Her: "You know, I never look back on what I've done unless I'm asked, but I remember Mike saying, 'You need to stop and enjoy it. Think about everything you've done, all that you've accomplished' ... But there's so much more I want to do."
Thank you Janet for opening up and letting us in on how you are feeling... We love and support you always...

Katherine against MJ tribute show
A source told TMZ that Katherine Jackson is not happy about the planned tribute that is planned in honor of her late son in Vienna.
Michael's brother Jermaine is co-producing the event and intends to sing at the Sept. 26 show.
It has also been said that no other family members will be attending or performin in the Vienna concert because they think the show is a bad idea since Michael had no real connection to Austria.
One relative called the concert "The Jermaine Jackson Show," insisting Jermaine is thinking only of himself and not what his family wants.
Jermaine announced Tuesday during a press conference in Vienna that Akon, Chris Brown, Mary J. Blige, Sister Sledge and Natalie Cole are to perform at the upcoming gig. Jermaine said other artists would be added to the lineup later in the week. The event is expected to attract about 65,000 fans.
Chris Brown's rep has stated that he would not be performing at the concert. As I said yesterday, Chris probation officer probablly will not let him leave the country.
It's amazing how Jermaine who was in financial foe is now looking at 5M dollar condo's... go figure... anyone else think he is taking advantage?

Janet Jackson - Unable to watch TV
Janet Jackson has stated that she hasn't been able to watch television in the weeks since her brother Michael's sudden death at the age of 50.
"It will drive you crazy," Usmagazine.com quoted Jackson as telling Harper's Bazaar for its October issue. "People can have rhinoceros skin but there's a point when something's going to hurt you. Not everyone is stone, stone. I haven't watched the news in weeks. I had to ask my chef, 'How's Obama doing?' I haven't read a newspaper. On top of that, (we've lost) a family member. ... It's really hard to believe he's passed."
The singer and actress said concentrating on her career has helped her deal with her grief.
"I've been doing OK," she told the magazine. "Work helps focus all of that energy on something that is of value to you."
Not all of us have negative things to say, what a shame that Janet is unable to even watch the TV because of negativity concerning her late brother. We love you Janet! Be strong!

Janet to Pay Tribute to the King of Pop at the VMA's
This year the MTV Video Awards will have a special tribute when they air on the 13th at 9pm. The awards will open with a tribute to Michael Jackson led by his sister, Janet, in what's sure to be a massive celebration of the late King of Pop's life. Be sure to have your tissues ready, from what I hear, this will be a night to remember. I can't wait..
Michael himself has had several memorable VMA moments, including scoring a trophy in 1984 for 'Thriller' and 10 years later famously kissing wife Lisa Marie Presley on stage. He also performed a medley of his songs in 1995 (with guitarist Slash) in the video below...
Other performers set to take the stage that night in non-tribute form are Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Lady Gaga, Green Day, Pink, Taylor Swift and Muse.

Victoria Beckham Talks Style, Insecurities
When you think of Victoria Beckham, usually the first thing most people think of is her studly soccer playing husband David. Victoria is known for smile and her style.
This month Victoria opened up to ELLE Magazine in an interview. Here are her responses to some of the questions she was asked...
On her private family life: "David and I have a working relationship together, and we also have a private life together. Someone used the example recently of Brad and Angelina. They might be in a movie together, but that doesn't mean they're going to let someone film them at home. I don't do 'at homes' with my family. I don't march my kids down red carpets. It's just not how we choose to do things."
On being separated from husband David Beckham for six months while he was playing soccer in Milan: "I felt like someone had chopped my arm off, to be completely honest. Everything we do, we do together. I very rarely go out on my own, unless it's a work commitment."
On being perceived as cold person: "People think I'm a moody bitch. I do have my insecurities. Maybe that is why I look a little bit serious. The kind of person who's going to stand on the red carpet and love the attention and have the big grin – I'm just not like that. I want to get in there, do what I've got to do, and get home to my kids."
On her rumored recent breast augmentation to a smaller size: "We should just not talk about each other's boobs."
On the Los Angeles style of dress: "I find it odd that people will go to a nice restaurant or to theater in jeans and T-shirts. You know, it's great, David loves it. But it's very different to my personal style."
On raising her children: "[They] bloody well will work. Same as myself, same as David. They're not going to be the kind of kids that just hang about. I want them to be able to fulfill their passions, but I think it's important that the children grow up and have respect for themselves."

Brown's Publicist said Chris is not confirmed to perform at Jackson Tribute
Well good news at this point, Chris Brown won't be crooning "I'll Be There" in honor of Michael Jackson, maybe the judge would not allow him the freedom to leave the country or get out of his community services.
The "Forever" singer has put the kibosh on any plans to perform at the M.J. tribute concert in Vienna, hours after Jermaine Jackson announced Brown would be among the headliners at the Sept. 26 show.
I'm not sure anyone will shead a tear for his choice. I'm glad he has chosen not to perform. It would not be something Michael would support, he did not support abuse of any kind.
"Chris is not confirmed to perform or participate in any capacity for this show," the publicist for Brown's label tells E! News.
While we expect Brown to commence his comeback after racking up five years' probation for beating Rihanna, we were surprised to hear his name listed with Mary J. Blige, Akon, Natalie Cole and Sister Sledge for the event. He would need court approval to head overseas and get a break from his 180 hours of community labor. Brown, 20, attended Jackson's funeral and has cited the King of Pop as a major influence.
There was no immediate comment from organizers of the Jackson tribute, but Jermaine's definitely got some 'splaining to do.

Clooney at the Venice Film Festival - Gay Proposition
You really have to watch this funny clip of George Clooney as he was fielding questions during a live televised press conference for his new movie, 'The Men Who Stare at Goats',
A male questioner who had the microphone said "I am gay, George, and I think I am in love with you...Please take me," the dude said, stripping down to his underwear. "May I kiss you, please. Just one kiss?"
The ever chill Clooney didn't miss a beat. "It's hard when you take a big chance and it doesn't really work," he chuckled.
"It's always embarrassing when you take one real big swing for the fences and it just falls flat," said Clooney, who was decidedly not persuaded to do some switch-hitting. "It was a good try, though."
Hats off to Clooney for his ability to handle the situation in a good manner. I was proud of his response and how he was able to laugh it off, and move on!

Vintage jet takes off by mistake - by mistake?
Help me out here, How does a Vintage Cold War Bomber accidentally take off? I don't even know what else to say... accidentally took off? WTF
During an AirShow The Victor bomber became airborne in Leicestershire on May 5 when an engineer sitting in the co-pilot's seat gave it more throttle when he should have hit the brake, The Times of London reported. The plane was supposed to taxi down the runway and then stop.
I can see how you could confuse the throttle and the brake. I don't know how many of you have ever been in the cockpit of a plane, but how can you confuse the two?
British aviation regulators say the investigation into the accidental takeoff is closed.
Luckily, Bob Prothero, 70, a former RAF group captain, was at the controls. Prothero had hours of experience in Victors, although he had not flown one since the 1980s.
Prothero called the plane's brief time in the air "the most terrifying nine seconds of my life." He managed to steer the Victor, Teasin' Tina, back to the runway and away from a housing development and spectators at Cold War Jets open day at Bruntingthorpe Aerodrome.
Well I am so glad he was able to do that... and this happened how? Oh, yeah, by accident.
"My only concern was getting the plane down as quickly and safely as possible," he said.
The Civil Aviation Authority investigated the incident because neither Prothero nor the "co-pilot" has an actual pilot's license. It decided against any action, finding that the engineer froze in a stressful situation.
So neither one had a pilots license. I feel so much better knowing that... glad I don't live in England.

Jon Gosselin: I'm a cry baby... Kate Constantly Abused Me
Jon Gosselin just cannot let it alone. Jealous because Kate spilled out her heart about her failed marriage, Jon had to speak his peace.
Kate is not the one spending $1000's in Vegas partying up, Kate's not the one running around with pals half her age. No, Kate is home taking care of the Plus 8. Maybe he should let her have a real vacation instead of a night at the Homewood Suites in Reading, Pa. Maybe she ought to travel off to Vegas in a bikini and party up with the hotties at the pool.
Boo Hoo, "I was verbally abused. I was beaten down".. boo hoo.. Jon said during a Good Morning America interview... Take a look at the Daddy Douchebag....
This guy really needs to get a grip on reality. Get a REAL job where he has to work, maybe get some good insurance to pay for hair plugs, and maybe hire a fitness coach to get rid of some of that FAT.

Please return my fake gull - Free Vacation
So now we are rewarding thieves? Officials in Grand Marais, Minn are offering a free vaction for the person who decided to steal a fake seagull which was perched on a billboard in Pine County.
You have to be kidding me. If I return the seagull, I get a free vacation? Is that in the local county jail? A thief is a thief. Why would you reward them with a free vacation? Don't they have police?
The Grand Marais Area Tourism Association said its "Give Us the Bird" campaign is offering the vacation in exchange for the return of the fake gull, which had been perched on a billboard along Interstate 35, the Duluth (Minn.) News Tribune reported Tuesday.
"He was perched there, welcoming people north. And now it's just this little tangled yellow feet -- so we're pretty sure he didn't just up and fly away," the association said.
Diane Brostrom, director of the tourism association, said officials are serious want the bird returned to its former home.
"Aside from what he might do to your car, this bird's nothing but friendly -- he's the symbol of Grand Marais, and we want him back," she said in a statement. "We're really broken up about this."
Someone please return the damn seagull already. Send it via UPS...

Christina Milian and The Dream Wed
Christina Milian, Singer, and boyfriend producer, The Dream have tied the knot in Las Vegas last week.
The couple had a small midnight wedding at the ledgendary Little White Wedding Chapel. This Chapel should sound familiar, it's the same place where Britney Spears married Jason Alexander back in 2004, which was quickly enolled.
Milian reportedly rented a $200 wedding dress for the occasion and The Dream rented his tux for $100. Their wedding plans were under speculation since last month when they applied for a marriage license.
Best of Luck to you both.

Jerry Lewis Raises $60.5M - $4.5M Less than last year
Despite a downed economy contributions and pledges to the 44th annual Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon in Las Vegas totaled $60,481,231, organizers said.
During the Labor Day Weekend's 21 1/2-hour event there were several Co-hosts this year to include TV's Jann Carl; Nancy O'Dell, host of "Access Hollywood;" and "Days of Our Lives" star and "Biggest Loser" host Alison Sweeney.
Also serving as co-hosts, as well as performing, were recording artists Ace Young and Billy Gilman. Tom Bergeron of "Dancing with the Stars" and "Funniest Home Videos" appeared in taped segments throughout the broadcast.
The entertainment lineup at the 2009 telethon included Wynonna, Dolly Parton, Tony Orlando, Reba McEntire, Bo Bice, Charo, Train, comedian George Wallace, Lee Greenwood, Joshua Bell, Three Dog Night, Five for Fighting and ventriloquist Terry Fator.
The money raised will allow the non-profit Muscular Dystrophy Association to continue funding worldwide research to find treatments and cures for muscular dystrophy and related diseases.

So many people, everywhere, even with cares of their own, dug deep to show their wonderful compassion for others who need their help."

'Dancing With The Stars' Off-Set Fight
Shouldn't they be more worried about performing instead of slinging mudd? Is this 'Mudd Wrestling with the Stars'? Wait a minute, let me call Ashton Kutcher, I bet he would love to produce a show like that for me.
Actress Joanna Krupa called out professional dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy saying she was relieved she wasn't paired with him. "He gets a little impatient and really pushes you, so maybe we would've had a little argument here and there!" she told TV Guide. But now Chmerkovskiy is firing back, setting off a feud that's sure to make its way into the ballroom.
"She doesn't even know me. I'm very happy we're not partners. If she wants to jump on the bandwagon of thinking I'm impatient, that's fine by me," the Ukrainian dancer told TV Guide.
"People always think, 'Wow, Maks is so mean.' I'm not mean. Yes, I'll be frustrated, but I know what to get out of this person so we'll be there Thursday... What happens is people sign up not knowing what exactly they're signing up for. When they're freaking out, I go, 'Listen, if you do exactly what I say, you'll be fine.' Sometimes we need to push our partners because that's what they want us to do," he added.
"I didn't speak one word to Joanna during the season and I haven't spoken to her one word since we've been here. But as far as I'm concerned, I'm happy we didn't get partnered up. I wish them a lot of luck," he said.
Krupa claimed, "I really would not have been shocked if I got paired with Chmerkovskiy, but when I saw Derek Hough's face, it really put a smile on my face. I got this really great guy. It's definitely a better match."
Hopefully all this negative energy will be reflected onto the floor...

Damon - 'The Informant'
Okay, the day I pack on the pounds for a movie role, well, okay, if they are paying me the amount Matt Damon is getting to do the movie 'The Informant', what the heck. I could be a fatty too.
Damon was asked to pack on 30 lbs for the goofy role. I personally liked the chiseled 'Bourne' roles he played, but hey, I'm not much into the fat thing...
Damon says he had "probably the funnest time" he's ever had working while filming 'The Informant!,' saying he loved not having to go to the gym after work. "I just ate everything I could see,"
The Oscar-winning actor-writer says it was "very, very easy to gain the weight," also continuing the "very" party by calling it "very, very fun."
'The Informant!' stars Damon in his latest collaboration with Steven Soderbergh. Damon plays a badly-mustachioed and glasses-sporting FBI informant.
Take a look at the trailer, Good Luck Matt unpacking those pounds. It was easy to put on, wait till you try to take them back off... xoxo
Jon says he despises Kate - As if we don't despise him
Jon Gosselin, the infamous Douchebag, said in an interview he despises his soon-to-be-ex-wife, Kate.
The reality couple, who star alongside their eight children in the TLC series "Jon & Kate Plus Eight," announced during the summer their plans to divorce after nearly 10 years of marriage. Jon has since been living life to the fullest and has been photographed at clubs, bars and celebrity events and spotted with his 22-year-old girlfriend Hailey Glassman.
Usmagazine.com said Jon told ABC News his relationship with Kate is so tense they have to tape their segments for the show separately.
"I can't sit on the sofa with that woman," he said. "I can't sit with someone right now that I despise. ... I despise (her) because she's not speaking from the heart... Please -- the stuff you tell me in private should be the stuff you tell me on TV."
"While I certainly have a very different perception of how our marriage dissolved, for the sake of my children I maintain that I'm not going to go into details of aspects I believe should remain private," Kate said in a statement issued to ABC News.
Despite all of this, this dude does nothing but sign autographs at the fence at their home in Pennsylvania. What's he gonna do if he get's kicked off the show and doesn't have any income coming in... what will he do to earn that $57K an episode?
I think Hair Club for Men is looking for a new spokesperson.

Janet to Honor her Brother
Janet Jackson is going to pay tribute to her brother Michael witha performance at the MTV Video Awards show in New York City this weekend.
Janet has been very quiet since his death and really has not said much publicly unlike Jackson's other siblings.
His sister reportedly has been rehearsing a moving tribute to him, which will feature 20 backup dancers.
Kryiss Grant, one of the dancers involved in the production and an usher at Jackson's entombment last week, told TMZ some VMA practice sessions have lasted 15 hours.
"There won't be a dry eye in the house," Grant said.
I am looking forward to her performance. Janet is a talented performer like her brother and I am certain she will do a great job honoring her brother. Be sure to catch it.

"I never had a master plan. I just got fed up one day and decided to do something about it."
- Donald Trump, page 301 from his book "The Art of the Deal".
"What I think is that a good life is one hero journey after another. Over and over again, you are called to the realm of adventure, you are called to new horizons. Each time, there is the same problem: do I dare? And then if you do dare, the dangers are there, and the help also, and the fulfillment or the fiasco. There's always the possibility of a fiasco. But there's also the possibility of bliss."
- Joseph Campbell, page 133 from his book "Pathways to Bliss". Campbell was an American mythology professor, writer, and lecturer.
"A day will come when you will be stirred by unexpected events. A part of you will die and you will begin to search for the elixir that will bring this part of you back to life. You will seek the elixir in friends, lovers, enemies, books, religions, foreign countries, hero's, songs, rituals and jobs, but no matter where you look the treasure will evade you. All will seem lost and you will lose all hope that this magic potion even exists. This will be the darkest of nights and promise certain death will lead you to the abyss of despair. But staring into the abyss you will see the dim light of your own illumined soul. Your radiance will transform the abyss into the elusive elixir of life and for the first time you will realize that all the while it is your own light that you've been searching for."

Want to be buried near MJ?
With the real estate market being in the toilet, there is one place that has seen a boost in prices. That would be Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale. Apparently the plots surrounding the King of Pop are soaring.
A rep for the cemetery says, "When a high-profile person comes in, it can affect the prices of the surrounding plots."
Units in the mausoleum where Jackson's body is housed once cost $7,000. Forest Lawn says that each plot is now worth $9,900 - and the owner of a double unit inside Jackson's mausoleum is asking a whopping $34,000 for the space.
"We've had a tremendous response," says the owner. "We're weighing all of our options."
If you want to be laid to rest near the "King of Pop" better hurry. I am sure the plots will go fast.
R.I.P. Michael Jackson - I pray for your children daily!
Chris Brown trying to win people back?? NO WAY!
Chris Brown's popularity has been in the toilet since his felony assault of ex-girlfriend Rihanna, but he may be hoping that the universal appeal of Michael Jackson's music can turn things around. Brown is now set to headline the upcoming tribute concert to the King of Pop in Austria.
Along with Brown, Mary J. Blige and Natalie Cole will be among the top artists performing at a Sept. 26 Michael Jackson tribute concert, organizers said.
Jackson's brother Jermaine told reporters that up to 25 performers are expected to perform outside a 17th-century palace in the Austrian capital. More names will be unveiled later this week in London and Berlin, he said.
Sister Sledge, Akon, Angela Bassett, and the Germany-based boy band US5 are also among the 13 artists confirmed so far, Jackson and event promoter Georg Kindel said. Jackson's original band and dancers will also perform.

Organizers are billing the event as the main global tribute to Jackson, who died June 25 in Los Angeles. Jackson's family and children will be in Vienna, and 65,000 fans are expected to attend, Kindel said.
Jermaine Jackson has said Vienna was chosen as the venue because his brother "loved castles," and because Jermaine was impressed with how a smaller tribute held in July outside a mothballed nuclear power plant was organized.
Are they simply taking Jackson's death a bit far with the tributes? Who is getting all the money? One of his charities I hope... I appreciate the need to mourn and to celebrate his life, but at what point will his children be allowed to move on....?
