Who can really feel sorry for Brody Jenner, a rich Malibu hottie who stars on The Hills...but today, we will have to cut him some slack.

See, it just so happens yesterday was Brody's 26th birthday.

And instead of spending it partying and doing shots of Patrón and popping bottles of Dom Perignon at his favoriate Hollywood hot spots, he's getting surgery in the hospital.

"Spending my bday in the hospital... This sucks," he twittered.

It's not all bad news for the Brody. His Playmate ladyfriend Jayde Nicole is there to give him TLC.

Brode tweeted : "@jayde_Nicole and I sitting around at the hospital waiting for me to go under the knife :("

A sad face for Brody indeed! Now there will be a scar on that semi-fabulous body....

A source tell has said that he has appendicitis and is having his appendix removed, but he's "fine."
