Kristin Chenoweth seemed to run into some bad luck when the show "Pushing Daisies" met a dead end this summer. Kristin is filling up her time doing guest appearances and a recurring role. She has been hired to make a cameo on Fox's new show "Glee" as well as a guest judge on "American Idol".
As we all know, "American Idol" has been scrambling to find guest judges since Paula Abdul decided not to return this season due to contract disputes. I personally would say contract insult, but that's an entirely diffrent story.
In "Idol", she will sit in the judging panel for the Orlando auditions later this week. Chenoweth is involved in the music world, being cast in several musical Broadway plays. She won a Tony award for portraying Sally Brown in "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown."
As for her "Glee" stint, it's revealed that Chenoweth will appear in episode four as April Rhodes. As dished out by E!, her character "turns out to be quite the alcoholic and bad influence on the glee club members." The musical show itself will be premiered on September 9.
Chenoweth is a talent star and I'm glad to know that I will see more of her. Can't wait to see her in Orlando while she is guest judging on "American Idol".
