The Transformers star, 23, has been spotted cuddling and kissing British actress Carey, 24, in New York.
The pair have been busy in the Big Apple filming Oliver Stone's Wall Street sequel, Money Never Sleeps, together.
An onlooker said: "They seemed very, very happy. They were talking, laughing and smiling and seemed very close."
Good for them, I hope all goes well. Nothing like a little romance and love to make the life just a little bit brighter.
